    Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute, part of Allina Health, was created in 2013 by the merger of Courage Center and Sister Kenny Rehabilitation Institute. The Institute provides a continuum of rehabilitation services for people with short- and long-term conditions, injuries and disabilities in communities throughout Minnesota and western Wisconsin.  The Institute’s goal is to improve health outcomes, make it easier for clients and families to get the right services for their needs, and reduce costs by preventing complications.   • DeafBlind Services Minnesota (DBSM)
    DBSM provides community support services (“SSP”) to people who are DeafBlind or have dual vision/hearing loss. Via the CADI and EW waivers under Medical Assistance, they provide ILS services to persons who are blind, deaf or deafblind. In conjunction with Vision Loss Resources, they can provide Adjustment to Blindness rehab training. DBSM clients can also access the VLR Community Center and Community Education Program.     Fraser is a Minnesota-based nonprofit that serves children and adults with special needs through education, healthcare and housing. The rehabilitation services at Fraser provide comprehensive evaluation, consultation, and treatment services for children with motor and sensory dysfunction, decreased functional and developmental skills, feeding and swallowing difficulties, and speech, language, and hearing disorders. These therapy services are provided with an interdisciplinary approach and each child’s goals and activities are individualized, based on strengths, challenges, and motivations.
