The Charlie Smith Awards
Banquet is a great opportunity to be seen, be cool, and be part
of the community. This annual event is taking place at Black Bear
Crossing on Como Lake in St. Paul on November 4, 2005. This year
you have the opportunity to laugh with two comedians, honor and
recognize this year’s award recipient, eat fantastic
food, and socialize with old and new friends. Being part of our community
means staying connected. It really helps when we have fun events
to share together. Be there!
At the last Charlie
Smith Award Banquet, several people noted that we see the same
200 faces each year. We need new blood at these events. This is
not an event for “insiders.” It’s a party
for the whole community. If you have never attended this event before,
we especially want you there. If you don’t have anyone to come
with—come alone! We guarantee you will meet new people and
maybe even reconnect with old friends.
