Walk for Justice:
10 Years of Walking for Social Change
Largest progressive grass-roots
gathering in Minnesota.
On
Sunday, September 18 at 11:30 AM to 3:30 PM, dozens of community
leaders will join over 100 grassroots activist organizations to walk
in the 10th annual Headwaters’ Walk for Justice.
This is the largest representation of progressive grassroots organizations
in Minnesota. The group will meet at Boom Island Park in Minneapolis
and walk together to the Stone Arch Bridge, and back along the Mississippi.
You may participate
in the walk by going to www.walkforjustice.org and register as
a Walker to support a particular organization (go to “View Organization” on
the home page to see the list of participating organizations) or
you may simply come to Boom Island on September 18 to join the
Walk and make a contribution to support the event.
