Thousands of Metro Mobility riders are scrambling to find alternative
ways to get around the Twin Cities, amid fears of service cuts. Allstar
Transportation wants them to know, we are ready to serve all their
transportation needs.
Allstar has been providing
special needs transportation across the entire seven-county metro
area since 1998. Whether residents need a ride to a medical appointment,
day treatment or work, Allstar can get them there seven days a
week, 365 days a year. Allstar has transportation contracts with
local government, nursing homes, DT&H programs,
adult day programs and school districts.
“Many people don’t realize they may qualify for free
rides through insurance,” says Allstar President Tony Carr.
Allstar is a certified provider for MTM (MNET), MA Insurance (Blue
Cross Blue Shield, Health Partners, Medica, UCare), MSA, ADA and
private pay rides.
Allstar has a full fleet of air-conditioned, wheelchair accessible
vans that are STS and DOT certified. Our vehicles are equipped with
GPS (Global Positioning System) technology, which creates a safer,
more efficient operation and improves customer service.
Allstar drivers are drug free, have clean driving records and have
received training in first aid, abuse prevention, and sensitivity.
They assist passengers (wheelchair or ambulatory) door-to-door as
required.
