Disability
Mentoring Day
The Minnesota Business Leadership Network, in partnership with the
Institute on Community Inclusion and the University of Minnesota,
is pleased to host Disability Mentoring Day on October 20.
This event is open to people with disabilities currently enrolled
in post secondary training including college, university, or technical
school, and to those who have recently graduated from such programs.
Disability Mentoring Day
is a national program designed to provide students with disabilities
a first hand experience in learning about career opportunities
in a variety of fields. Disability Mentoring Day encourages students
and employers to work together to promote the necessary skills
and experiences to compete in today’s
workforce as well as anticipate the future needs in education and
employment.
