Tales from the Charred Underbelly of the Yule Log It’s time, once again, for Kevin Kling’s annual Hootin’ and Hollerin’ Holiday Show at the Guthrie. If you haven’t yet had a chance to experience this show from Minnesota’s beloved storyteller, actor and playwright, you should adjust your December calendar to include this wonderful event. If you have seen Kevin’s “From the Charred Underbelly of the Yule Log,” then you know you’re in for an evening that will conjure up good (and maybe not so good) holiday memories—adults and children both! Moday, 12/15/03; http://www.guthrietheater.org. Knights of The Round Table On Thursday, January 29, 2004, Minnesota disability organizations will have the opportunity to present their agendas for the upcoming legislative session at the annual Interactive Legislative Roundtable. The roundtable is a kickoff event-video conference hosted by the Minnesota State Council on Disability with participation from eight different sites around the State. For more information and to get your organization on the agenda, contact the Council at 651-296-6785 or 1-800-945-8913 V/TTY. Lobby Monitor No one likes to wait especially kids. Help children to pass the time with a constructive activity; observe children who are waiting with their parent(s) in the lobby and offer them activities such as coloring books/crayons, books, etc.... Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age. Contact Ramsey County Community Human Services-Volunteer Services at 651-266-4090 for additional information or e-mail volunteerservices@co.ramsey.mn.us.
