Zippity Zoo Day

The third year was a charm for the 40 or so participants in this year’s Zippity Zoo Day.  Organized by United Cerebral Palsy of Minnesota (UCP), the event brought together those who use communication devices for a day at Como Zoo. After heavy rain the first year and extreme heat last year, the mild weather on June 27 was conducive to a good time.  “The goal of the day,” says UCP Executive Director Jo Ann Erbes, “is to provide a social experience for people using communication devices.. . . .
