Accessible Tickets

The Historic Orpheum, Pantages and State Theatres and the Woman’s Club Theatre in Mpls. have an ASL/AD Hotline that lists upcoming shows at 612-373-5650.  If you plan to order tickets, Performance Manager Art Ingersoll recommends that you contact him directly at the Box Office (612-373-5637, art@orpheum.com, or fax 612-339-3909) rather than through Ticketmaster.  Your phone or Internet order will be filled and tickets mailed out or held at Will Call for a $5.50 fee per order.  Or you may stop by the Box Office to avoid charges.

Each Broadway Series event schedules at least one AD/ASL performance.  However, if they do not receive any requests for these services through the Box Office by 48 hours before the show, the service is canceled.

If you buy your tickets through Ticketmaster, the theatres will have no record of your special needs and the ASL/AD may be canceled, or the reserved seats for ASL may not be near the interpreter.

Requests for ASL or AD for any other event should be made at least two weeks prior to insure that an interpreter and/or describer can be contracted.  They will do their best to accommodate late requests.

All events hold seats for possible ASL guests; these seats allow the interpreter to be in your sight line so you don’t have to ping-pong between the interpretation and the action on stage.  These seats are released on a schedule as the show date approaches.

Guests with mobility issues such as wheelchair-accessible seating may order through Ticketmaster.  However, if you have special circumstances such as oversize patrons or multiple companions, you will be directed to the Box Office for ticketing.
