Letters to the Editor To Access Press: I was impressed by the letter by Pete Feigal on his troubled life. In the last paragraph, Pete demonstrates that he has been able to analyze his past actions, self-harm and anger and has learned to love himself and others. My youngest son has suffered
from a depressive illness for 10 years now. He, too, is reclusive and
angry, blames the world for his unhappiness and rejects society. He
also covers his body with tattoos, stopping short, thankfully, at tattooing
his face..

Part I: Living with a Disability—Before ADA, Assistive Technology and Enlightened Attitudes by Ken Anderson I was born to Gustav and
Maria Anderson on October 7, 1931 in Worcester, MA. I was given oxygen
to begin life. My mother wasn’t allowed to see me for hours after birth.
She was at wit’s end as she’d lost a son two years before during childbirth.
Outside of these concerns, I seemed to be a normal child..
