Workshop: Accessible Info Technology in Schools Wednesday, April 2, 2003 As computers, educational software, and on-line learning courseware become more commonplace in today=s educational environments, there is a growing need to address the accessibility of these technologies for students with disabilities. The PACER Simon Technology Center, ADA Minnesota and Great Lakes ADA are sponsoring a half-day workshop addressing the topic of accessible information technology in K-12 settings. Who should attend: Educators, administrators and policy-makers, guidance counselors, transition specialists, technology specialists, disability advocates and individuals with disabilities and their families. This introductory workshop will answer the following questions related to accessible information technology in schools:
